ith the new and improved Trends in Futures Internet delivered package, you’ll find everything you need to trade smarter and to be a more disciplined trader. Emailed to you each Friday will be the Trends in Futures newsletter, preparing you for the coming week. Then emailed each day, the TIF Daily Update covering the markets with the most insightful commentary in the industry today, provided by a “real” trader, not just an analyst.
HOWARD TYLLAS, the new Trends in Futures editor, has been involved in the financial and commodity futures and options markets for over 34 years as a trader. Currently a member of the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT-now the CME Group), and registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as a Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA), Howard started his career in 1973 on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange trading floor working for a major firm. Three years later he purchased his first membership and began what would become a 13-year commitment to trading Soybeans for his own account on the trading floor. He began trading options on futures since their inception in Chicago about 20 years ago; doing so, he traded in various pits on the trading floor. Howard made the switch “upstairs” to trading emini S&P and NASDAQ on screen.
Howard has written articles for Futures Magazine, and was well received. He became a contributing author for the popular website InsideFutures.com and has become one of the most read authors. His writing style will allow everyone, novice or experienced traders, to understand exactly what he is saying.
Howard said, “My mission in writing Trends in Futures reader, giving them my 34 years of experience, wisdom, and knowledge. I know what will help them make money, and I know what will insure failure.”
